The Redlands Aromatherapy Foundation, Raf, is a 501c3 educational public benefit organization dedicated to research, education and application of sensory science, with an emphasis on the physiological and phycological impact of aroma on the mind and body, in order to promote greater health and well-being.
In furtherance of our mission, RAF, is committed to the creation of sensory garden spaces that have a positive and therapeutic benefit while demonstrating the impact of nature and sensory integration on our mind and body. Healing landscapes provide a sense of safety and tranquility; allowing individuals of all ages and stages of health to reconnect with the innate healing only nature can provide.
The Foundation is a collaboration of individuals with knowledge and experience in the fields of traditional and complementary health-care, convalescent health care administration, public service, agricultural science, public education and work in the non-profit sector.
RAF has been serving the public's need for education and training specific to skilled application of aroma to impact health and well-being since 2000. In 2007, our vision for increased public health and well-being through sensory integration, which includes sensory garden settings that demonstrate the connection between our senses and well-being, expanded us into a 501c3 educational public benefit organization.
